Türkiye Dissemination

We participated an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project  “ınnoVenture: You(th) On The Labor Market” in Predeal in between 6th of June and 16th of June hosted by Initiative SocIale Association. They brought together youth workers from Bulgaria, Türkiye, Spain, Poland, Italy, Greece, Czechia, Portugal and Romania.

Through non-formal education methods, we created teams to understand the subject and work on it.

Throughout the process we developed a sense of key competences of youth exchange. For example we organized a job fair (entrepreneurship), or we prepared presentations and short-films (digital). We had an awesome cultural awareness and expression process via cultural nights. Addition to learning new cultures we had a chance to discover the city of Brasov and Romanian culture for our study trip to learn and discover the job opportunities among the young people living in Brasov, Romania. In addition to what we gained a lot, we developed a sense of unity.

WE would like to express OUR respects for the opportunity that the EUROPEAN COMMISION has given us to internalize the European values   that it wants to disseminate and to be a part of this work.

"Greetings from Romania! 🗺

I recently took part in an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project named “InnoVenture: You(th) On The Labor Market” in Predeal from June 6th to June 16th, organized by the “Initiative Sociale” Association. This project brought together youth workers from Bulgaria, Turkey, Spain, Poland, Italy, Greece, Czechia, Portugal, and Romania.

We used non-formal education methods to form excellent teams that explored and addressed the topic. During the project, we developed vital competences for youth exchange. For example, we put together a job fair and created presentations and short films.

The cultural nights were a fantastic opportunity for us to share and celebrate our diverse cultural backgrounds.

In addition to the skills and knowledge we gained, we also forged strong bonds of friendship and unity. We shared laughter, tears, fun, and hard work, all together.

I deeply appreciate the chance given by the European Commission to improve ourselves both career planning and socially.

Everyone contributed uniquely to the success of this project, and I am thankful to each one of them. Special thanks also go to our sending organization, European Youth Bank, for enabling us to be part of this remarkable experience." - Tolga

We have created great teams to understand the place of young people in the labor market and to work on the subject with people from different cultures. Throughout the process, we developed an idea of the core competencies of youth exchange. For example, we organized a job fair (entrepreneurship), or prepared presentations and short films (digital). We experienced a great cultural awareness and expression process with cultural nights.

"I am delighted to have participated in the Erasmus+ project titled 'InnoVenture: You(th) on the Labour Market' in Predeal, Romania, from June 6-16, 2024.

60 young people from 9 countries Romania, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Czech Republic, and Türkiye came together for an unforgettable experience. The project focused on enhancing youth employment by developing technical, social, digital, and green skills necessary to succeed in the job market.

We received training on topics such as writing resumes, interview skills, and job search techniques. Additionally, we gained practical experience by simulating roles of both employees and employers. This project facilitated sharing of best practices in international collaboration and combating youth unemployment.

Erasmus+ projects aim not only to foster learning but also to create enriching and enjoyable experiences for participants. We had the opportunity to experience new cultures, traditions, cuisines, learn local dances, explore new cities, and form lasting friendships.

We would like to thank the host organization Initiative Sociale and our sending organization European Youth Bank for making this experience possible. #erasmusplus" - Emre
